Graduates Yorkshire (GY), a leading recruitment brand in the Yorkshire and Humber region, needed a new identity to facilitate the smooth transition of its services. Shifting from a free to a paid-for model, GY also needed strategic and commercial consultancy to help achieve its goals.
Rising to the challenge, Honey Creative started by engaging key stakeholders in the design process to build ownership and buy-in. They also helped to develop a business and marketing strategy, then used this platform to create a unique and flexible brand identity. The new logo was based on the shape of Yorkshire, retaining a regional ‘edge’, with dots representing graduates and businesses being drawn together on their respective journeys.
Within two years, sales went from zero to £1,036,000, with forecasted sales for year three up 44%. GY’s database of graduates has grown by 370%, with the website receiving up to 400,000 hits a month.
